Lot #528 - Out of south Florida comes this beautiful matching numbers engine Corvette,
hand-picked from a very serious collection of over 80 vehicles. This particular Corvette
was owned for over 20 years and was one of the owner's personal favorites.
Originating as the first year of the Sting Ray then restored in 2005 to better than
showroom condition. This Corvette is finished in beautiful Ferrari Rosso Corsa paint
with a hand-stitched, glove-soft tan leather interior done in the correct pleated pattern.
The hood vent grills and cowl vents are finished in chrome to a perfect effect,
complemented with a tan soft-top and a rare factory hardtop. The under-hood area
is all classic Corvette in the form of a free revving 327cid 4-barrel engine cranking
out 340hp through a Hurst shifted 4-speed transmission. All of the brightwork, chrome,
glass and trim is all in near-new condition. The panel fit, gaps and paint finish are
done to great detail. There is no better way to compliment the look of this '63 'Vette
than a set of finned aluminum three-bar knock-off wheels. Detailed set of documents
showing over $80,000 in receipts of restoration and maintenance to the highest standard.
